- Do you require a booking fee?
Yes, all weddings require a deposit. Once I receive your deposit, you are officially booked. This is not an additional fee, it goes directly towards your final amount.
- What type of payments do you accept?
I accept checks made payable to: Valerie Porter, Venmo, Paypal and of course, cash.
- How long will it take until I get the pictures?
I pride myself on being very efficient without sacrificing quality. I only want to give you the best and work tirelessly in your behalf. I average about 2 weeks turnaround time, longer for more extensive weddings.
- Can I order prints from you?
I will give you a USB flash drive with all of your full size images and copyrights giving your permission to order your own prints and basically do whatever you want with them! Post them on social media, make them your home screen. . .they are 100% yours! Of course, if you need tips of how and where to develop your photos, I've got your back!
- How many pictures will I get?
You will get ALL the images that I process. The longer the coverage, the more pictures you get.
- Will I get a gallery of all the images to share with family and friends?
Yes. I will give you a gallery of all of your images. They will not be the full size images so downloading from the gallery is not enouraged. You will get the full size images on your USB drive.
- Is a book included with your wedding packages? And why would I want or need one?
Yes. I normally include a book in each of the packages but if you are not interested in getting a book, the price can be adjusted accordingly. I would strongly recommend having a book made because I can think of no better way to enjoy all of your pictures at once. Books create tangible experiences that will help you relive those special moments in a way that a computer or phone screen can't.
- Do you charge a traveling fee?
Traveling fees maybe required depending on the distance to the location. You may inquire when you ask for a bid and if there is a traveling fee, it will be included in the wedding package.
